Corsicana Victory Fair and Rodeo

The Victory Parade, or, with its full name: "Corsicana Victory Fair and Rodeo", was an annual five-day event that opened with a big parade through the streets of Corsicana. The photos below are taken mostly from the 1945 Fair and Parade which, according to our information, took place in September. The Parade celebrated the defeat of Nazi Germany and Japan and the end of World War II, and commemorated and honored all veterans who served our great nation.
